I’m a 32 year old man that has lived in America my whole life. I come from a family of good values, and hard workers. My paychecks these days dictate that I am middle class. I’m completely happy with that at this point in my life. I have a good career and enjoy going to work. Sometimes my career is far better than the paycheck…well most days it is anyhow. So without being to boring, I’m a firefighter in a Mid-West city and just so happens that city would be the one I grew up in. I have been firefighting for 10 years and have seen some of the greatest things humans have to offer, and some of the unthinkable things as well. Like in any public job things can get political, so in my career I have not only found love for the people I work with or my job, but I have also come to love the democracy our country has to offer.
Like I said, I come from a good family, hard working and they have always had my back. I remember sitting at many dinner tables with my now 95 year old grandfather talking politics. My moms brother was a union boss for Cessna in Wichita, Ks and I believe I share a strong passion of politics as much as he did. Sadly, my uncle died when I was teenager in a car wreck. It wasn’t until after his car wreck I would find out how well known he was throughout the state. My family got invited to the state capital in Topeka, Ks to be honorary representatives on behalf of my Uncle to see some legislation get passed on “Click-it-or-ticket”. Like I said previously he died in a car wreck, had he been wearing a seat belt he might have survived. I was mesmerized how fast the process went. After the legislation was passed we went upstairs to the governors office and met him and his family for a few moments, those few moments would resonate with me for the rest of my life.
So, long story short. I started this blog to bring attention to the very small portion of americans that might read this. I will be pouring my political heart and soul into this blog with research and items that need attention brought upon it. In the last decade I have seen this country I love and fight for on a daily basis come to a crossroads of where we should be. I hope it is not to late for the Good Ol’ USA but I have hope in our country and I want to do my part to share that with you, and hope to shed some light on issues that can affect us forever. Until next time, Good night, and God Bless!
